Our High Ground Is In Minden, Nevada

Minden is at the base of the Sierra Nevada range and has an elevation of 4,725 feet above sea level. The town was founded in 1906, and quickly grew to include a railroad, general store, lumberyard, wool warehouse, stockyard, creamery, and flour mill.

Over 100 years later, the mill still stands, and has been converted into a state-of-the-art distillery. The town’s old flour mill was an ideal choice for the location because it preserves and honors the place that nourished and supported the people here for so long.

Today, Minden Mill Distilling is home to our team of whiskey distillers turned vodka makers who work hard every day to create something of quality and substance. Our product may be different now, but our goal remains the same; to make something that is worthy of the town’s name.

A Small But Mighty Place

Minden is less than 4 square miles but is a place of big contrasts. There are arid desert valleys and snow-capped mountain peaks. Blazing hot days and bone-chilling nights. Dense pine forests and wide-open vistas. It’s these exciting extremes that instill a remarkable character into our vodka.

Minden embodies the spirit of the people and richness of the land that is unlike anywhere in the country. And at the same time, shares the essence at the heart of every small town in America.
